This Specialization develops a progressive understanding of Lean principles, Six Sigma methods, quality tools, and continuous improvement frameworks. You will explore workplace organization, waste elimination, process mapping, Value Stream Mapping, customer requirements, SIPOC, root cause analysis, and strategic project selection.
You will also analyze process performance using histograms, Pareto charts, scatter plots, run charts, control charts, Microsoft Excel, and specialized quality analysis tools. As you advance, you will apply DMAIC, DFSS, and change management principles to improve existing processes, design new workflows, and sustain measurable results.
By completing the Specialization, you will be prepared to evaluate process inefficiencies, support data-driven improvement projects, recommend targeted solutions, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives in manufacturing and service environments.
Applied Learning Project
