About the Course

This UX course provides an introduction to the fields of UX research and design. Learners will gain an understanding of what is involved in UX research, including conducting interviews, evaluating systems, and analyzing systems using principles of good design. Learners will also learn about the work involved in UX Design, including the generation of promising design solutions and the creation of prototypes at multiple levels of fidelity. By interleaving successive phases of UX Research and Design, learners will see how to learn from inevitable mistakes and improve towards a product with a great UX. Believe me when I say: You'll finish this course orders of magnitude more learned about UX Design than before signing up. If you're looking for an introductory course to UX design, look no further.

IF YOU WORK A F-T PROFESSIONAL JOB, DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE!!! IT'S A TIME WASTER.

Videos aside, this course is a complete waste of time for working professionals. The biggest time-wasters are in the final 6th week.

First, the course instructors deliberately create a confusing assignment and label it as a UI/UX challenge. Most people who posted said they wasted minimum 45 minutes just trying to figure out the assignment; I know I did.

Second, after you get through listing all of the UX violations, they drop a bigger time-wasting bomb by asking students to repeat the previous assignment (which was done in an Excel grid format) but this time in a report format and the example provided is 40 PAGES LONG!!!!! What the heck?!!! No one has time for this foolishness.

Clearly someone who has ZERO professional work experience threw this course together because it's a complete time waster. Do yourself a favor and take the Google course.
